    opened port tcp 443 on router
    still no change...grrrrr!

    found this in the sign in log files: not load type 'System.Security.Authentication.ExtendedProtection.ExtendedProtectionPolicy

    Practical ready - did not set effect
    Uninstaled .Net iii.5
    installed .Internet 4
    Reinstalled .Net 3.5

    Nevertheless no resolution.

This is used when the following has occurred "The appropriate rights accept not been granted to the private fundamental on the reckoner." David I chosen 425.514.3333 and left a voice mail message. I see in your initial request information yous said you take Port 447 open but we need to make sure Port 443 is open. I would like for you to try the following:

    Run Windows Update to make certain you have all of the recommended updates that are .Cyberspace Framework besides whatsoever disquisitional ones.
    Make certain .Net Framework version 3.v is install is installed
    Re-install the Microsoft Online Services Sign In application

    Please update the Service Request in the Microsoft Online Assistants Centre or call us at 866.441.8425 if you have whatsoever questions.

    Nope that did not work. I am abode now and all weekend if you want to call. From my research this seems to be a fairly new event. I will run a mosdal study and send it. Will also try my own troubleshooting.

    oh but to let you know "The appropriate rights have not been granted to the private fundamental on the computer" is non the error or crusade.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunatly these solutions do non utilise. The workstation in question is at domicile and not behind a proxy. I have already opened the correct ports, etc; I'm pretty tech savy.

    What else you got?

    Please log into your Microsoft Online Admin Center and nether the Services Tab update your request with the post-obit:
    Try Port 443

    Method ane: Make sure that the computer is connected to the Net. Verify the following:
    Make certain that the computer is assigned a valid IP address.
    Verify the physical network connections.

    Method 2: If you lot accept verified that the reckoner is connected to the Net, you must also verify the Proxy Settings in Internet Explorer:
    ane.Shut all Cyberspace Browsers.
    ii.Click First, click Control Panel, and then click Internet Options.
    three.Click the Connections tab, and and then click LAN Settings.

    Did yous utilize port 443?

    Troubleshooting:
    ran dotnetfix
    opened port 447
    uninstall and reinstall

    Works fine on another workstation on a dissimilar network.

    Take searched everywhere for a resolution and all answers point to opening an SR.

    Practise yous have a quick fix?
